27 Aug Sitting out some more wet weather
We are at Mukinbudin caravan park being lazy, waiting for the latest bout of wet weather to pass through. Last night we had old friends Lindsay and Robyn from Cairns parked next to us. They are on their way back east and it was great to meet them again after almost 10 years.
Before that we were at Beringbooding Rock which has a low wall built around the rock to channel rain water down across an aqueduct and into a 2.25 million gallon concrete tank. This was all built in the depression years in the 1930s to provide water for drought stricken farmersĀ and provide work for some of the many unemployed men.
